Chisnell, Robert E.
Peacefully with family by his side, on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, Robert E., age 97, of Ingram. Beloved husband of the late Viola A. "Vi" Chisnell. Loving father of Janice L. (Jerry) Kaufer, Sandy (Ray) Nemetz and Nancy (Tom) Kimble; dear grandfather of Robin (Kurt) Countryman, Meghan (Frank) Zampardi, Brendan (Jen) Titchworth, Gina (Sam) Stacy, Kurt Nemetz, Kristen (Chaz) Verruggio, Bobby (Katie) and Tommy (Amanda) Kimble and Kaitlin (Chris) Dunlay; proud great-grandfather of Caila, Patrick, Sophia, Ryan, Nicholas, Dylan, Tommy, Kasey, Lucas, Zachary, Ryan, James, Michael, Stella and Jack; brother of the late Elizabeth Aubele, Corabelle Mann, Harry J. Chisnell, Dorothy Bradley, and Mary Louise Graham; also numerous nieces and nephews; Bob was an Elder and Trustee for the U. P. Church in Ingram. Bob served in combat as a Sergeant in the 79th Infantry Division in World War II. He fought to liberate France and defeat Germany, and he was awarded the Bronze Star for his bravery. The family would like to thank Washington Commons and Bethany Hospice for their loving care. Friends received at the Hershberger-Stover Inc. Funeral Home, 170 Noble Avenue, Crafton, on Friday 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Funeral service in the United Presbyterian Church in Ingram, 30 W. Prospect Ave., Ingram (Pgh. 15205) on Saturday at 11 AM. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Ingram V.F.D., where Bob served for over 50 years, will hold a service at the funeral home on Friday at 7 PM. If desired, memorials may be made to the United Presbyterian Church in Ingram.
