She first bloomed on September 1, 1950 and her radiance shone for the next 67 years. Her roots were strong and deep. She was beloved by her late mother and father, Dorothy and Walter Wisniewski, her sisters and brothers, Antoinette, Frank, John, Constance, Mary, Walter, Anne and Paula, and her lifelong friend, Eileen. Love blossomed, and she married and had a family of her own. She is survived by her husband, Samuel, children, Kirk, Matthew and Vanessa, and grandchild - her little rosebud - Mya. She wished to have no viewing or funeral. She will be cremated and her ashes returned to the earth that was so dear to her. In lieu of flowers, she asks that donations be made to Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital so that children with cancer may have their own chance to blossom and share their beauty with the world.
