On Tuesday, June 11, 2024, Alice J. Bowser Schwer, age 95, of Westwood passed away. Beloved wife of the late William F. Schwer. Dear mother of Joani (Rich) Long and William D. (Joyce) Schwer. Grandmother of Susan (Eric) Larson, Erin (Justin) Brooks, Mark (Rachel) Schwer and Eric (Haley) Schwer. Great-grandmother of William and Ivy Brooks, Archer and Zella Larson, Reagan and Elliott Schwer and Gabriel Schwer. Alice was preceded in death by her parents Duane and Viola Bowser and her sister, Virginia Swan. Mom (Mimi Alice) loved her family and her church. She loved working as an office manager and volunteering at Ohio Valley Hospital after she retired.  She enjoyed yardwork and she loved "camping" with Dad in their travel trailer and always exclaimed, "This is the berries!" Family and friends received at the HERSHBERGER-STOVER INC. FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION SERVICES, 170 Noble Ave. Crafton on Tuesday, June 18th from 2 PM until the time of the funeral service at 5 PM at the funeral home. Interment, in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, will be private. If desired, memorials may be made to Vision Appalachia, 131 Gene Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15237 or a charity of your choice.
