Unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, Cathy Jean Artis, MD, age 75, of Mt. Lebanon. Beloved daughter of the late  James and Lois Artis.  Dear sister of Diane L. Beck.  Cathy was a graduate of Allegheny College and Woman's Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.  She was the longtime President of Three Rivers Shetland Sheepdog Club of Greater Pittsburgh.  Cathy loved her creative crafts and did wreaths and arrangements enjoyed by many of her friends. Her family of shelties Mandy, Toby, Lizzy, Brady, Kerry, Quincy and Grady were the love of her life.  She achieved titles with all of her dogs. Friends received at the Hershberger-Stover Inc. Funeral Home, 170 Noble Avenue, Crafton, on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM where a Blessing Service will be Wednesday at 10 AM.
