Charles Enfield McDermott, age 85, of Rosslyn Farms, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Toby S. McDermott. Loving father of C. Andrew (Sheena) McDermott and Meredith R. (Eric) McDermott, M.D. and dear Pop-Pop of Sylvia, Eli, C. August, and Lily. Dr. McDermott practiced dentistry in Crafton Heights from 1965 through retirement in 2004. He joined the practice of his father, Charles F. McDermott, who first opened the office in 1934. He received his undergraduate degree and DDS from Pitt and was a lifelong Pitt sports fan. Friends received at the Hershberger-Stover Inc. Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 170 Noble Avenue, Crafton, on Monday from 10 AM until Noon only. The funeral service will be private.
