Peacefully, at her Robinson Township home with her family by her side, on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, Dorothy Ann Bemis Ray, age 84. Beloved wife for 63 years of Michael T. Ray. Loving mother of Laurie A. Ray, Stephen M. (Jinny) Ray and the late Jeffrey S. Ray. Dear grandmother of Michael Ray, Josephine (Roland) Kaaialii, Joshua Ray, Christopher Yanichko and the late Stephanie (surviving spouse Bret) Oliver.  Great-grandmother of Alexis Moran and Austin Ray. Daughter of the late Helen and Elmun Bemis. Sister of John (Annette) Bemis and Deborah (Jerry) Stubberfield and the late Lonnie Bemis. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends received at the Hershberger-Stover Inc. Funeral Home, 170 Noble Avenue, Crafton, on Saturday 6-8 PM and Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 PM.  Requiem Mass in St. James Roman Catholic Church, 326 S. Main St., Pittsburgh, PA 15220 on Monday at 10 AM.  Dottie was a dedicated labor and delivery nurse for many years at St. Clair Hospital and Allegheny General Hospital. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all of the staff with AHN Hospice for the loving care extended to Dorothy with special thanks to Kayla, Stephanie and Beth.
