At his Crafton home with family by his side on Thursday, June 23, 2022, James M., age 89, of Crafton. Beloved husband for 67 years of the late Barbara J. Bassano. Loving father of Jeffrey (Charmaine) Bassano, Gregory (Terri) Bassano, Jolinda Bassano, Mark (Marie) Bassano and James (Rebecca) Bassano; also 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Brother of the late Gloria Bassano. Family visitation and the blessing service will be private. Interment, with military honors, will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Arrangements entrusted to the Hershberger-Stover Inc. Funeral Home, 170 Noble Avenue, Crafton. If desired, memorials may be made to Gallagher Hospice, 1370 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, PA 15017.
