On Thursday, January 12, 2023, James K., age 88, of Crafton.  Beloved husband of Dr. Sharon R. Wilson. Loving father of Christopher (Yvette) Wilson and the late Mark J. Wilson.  Step-father of Margie (Shah Khalil) Williams, Christine (Brian) Hosie, Russell (Mary) Smith and Amy (Dr. Paul) McPherson.  Also 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  Interment was private.  Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 11 AM in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 46 School St., Green Tree (Pgh., PA 15220).  Jim was a teacher in the Pittsburgh Public Schools and was a classical musician.  He was a clarinetist with the Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble, the Wheeling Symphony, the McKeesport Symphony as well as being a freelance musician.  Jim was a U.S. Army veteran and played in the United States Army Band. Inurnment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a future date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hershberger-Stover Inc. Funeral Home/Cremation Services, 170 Noble Avenue, Crafton. In lieu of flowers,  memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 600 River  Ave., Suite 400, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
