At her Sheraden home, with her family by her side, on Saturday, August 16, 2025, Judith, age 84, passed away.  Wife of the late Thomas M., beloved mother of Patti (Lou) Torcasi, Susan Michelessi, Thomas Luxbacher (Felix Rodriguez), and David Luxbacher (Arla Hafner):  also 10 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren.  Sister of William (Edie) Duerr Jr, Donald (the late Carole) Duerr, and Thomas (Patty) Duerr.  Predeceased by her Parents, William and Margaret Duerr and Sisters Jean Keane and Myrna Duerr.  Judy worked for the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh for many years, retiring in 2012.  Judy loved nothing more than spending time with her family and cherished the time she could spend with them during vacations or long weekends at Camp and the cabin outside of Titusville.  (Her favorite and most special place).  She enjoyed all holiday get-togethers and rarely forgot to celebrate a family member or friends Birthday. Judy loved to travel and had the opportunity to tour many European cities, their famous landmarks, restaurants, and museums.  She also enjoyed domestic adventures to New York, Boston, San Francisco, and Yosemite to name a few.  Judy loved working on her Puzzle Books daily and always looked forward to a good Cabernet at “Wine Thirty”.  Friends received at the Hershberger-Stover Inc. Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 170 Noble Avenue, Crafton on Thursday, August 21, 2025 from  2-4 and 6-8 PM.  Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday at 10 AM in Ascension Church of Saint Philip Parish, 114 Berry Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.  If desired, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
