On Friday, November 10, 2023, Mary  Katherine, age 78, of Crafton Heights passed away.  Beloved wife for 37 years of James C. Potanko. 
Loving sister of  Marcella Cielecy, Walter (Susan) Cielecy,  Kathereene Kostiuk, Michael Cielecy, Marce Williams and the late Stanley Cielecy.  Also numerous nieces and nephews. Friends received at the Hershberger-Stover Inc. Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 170 Noble Avenue, Crafton, on Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM.  Mass of Christian Burial in Ascension Church of St. Philip Parish, 114 Berry St., Pittsburgh, PA 15205 on Tuesday at 10 AM. Mary Kay was a special education teacher with the Pittsburgh Pubic Schools for 32 years and specialized in the teaching of children with Autism.  She also enjoyed taking many cruises with her beloved husband. If desired, memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society at Ascension Church.
