Haag, Mary Jane
On Friday, March 8, 2019, Mary Jane, age 93, of Mt. Lebanon, formerly of Crafton and Penn Hills. Beloved wife of the late Frederick W. Haag. Loving mother of Gregory (Diane) Haag,Victoria (Jim) Daniels and Frederick K. (Charles Christen) Haag; survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mary Jane was the youngest and last survivor of nine children to Reverend Charlie and Cora Walters, previously of Ohio. Mary Jane was a graduate of Columbia Hospital Nursing School and spent many years serving as an Operating Room nurse at Columbia Hospital. Mary Jane finished the career she was passionate about as a nurse at a private physician practice in McKees Rocks. Other than her love of family and nursing, Mary Jane was frequently found in the Crafton United Methodist Church worshipping, playing the piano and was responsible for the restoration of the church nativity set. Friends received at the Hershberger-Stover Inc. Funeral Home, 170 Noble Avenue, Crafton, on Tuesday 2-4 and 6 PM until the time of the funeral service Tuesday at 7 PM at the funeral home. Private interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. If desired, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Assn., 1100 Liberty Ave., Suite E201, Pgh., PA 15222.
