With her family by her side, on Thursday, June 7, 2018, Phyllis "Jean", age 78, a long time resident of Leesburg, FL, formerly of Pittsburgh. Beloved wife of the late Robert T. Best. Loving mother of Debra (Robert) Merritt, Donna Best, George (Cindy) Best and Robert (Kevin) Best; dear Gram/Nana of Megan Ciesielski, Ryan Merritt, Gracie Best, Rachel Fuller, Jordan Best and Steven Gallo; loving Gigi to Mason, Logan, DJ, Tyler, Everly, Kinley, Ryder and Harvest; sister of David (Elizabeth) Close and Carol Sucevic. Per Jean's request there will be no visitation. Friends invited to a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial in Ascension Worship Site of St. Philip Church, 114 Berry St., Pgh., PA 15205 on Monday, June 18 at 11 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Hershberger-Stover Inc.
