Rev. William E.A.J.J.
Rev. William Dorsch, age 56, of Pittsburgh. Born: April 2, 1970 in Rochester, PA. He died, with his wife by his side, on Sunday, June 28, 2026 in Crafton after a long battle with cancer. William was the son of the late Harry and Carol Dorsch of Kill Devil Hills, NC. He is survived by his wife Bethany Dorsch of Pittsburgh, PA.; two sons, William "Liam" Dorsch II and Xander Isaac Sheppard both of Pittsburgh, PA, brother Chris Dorsch of Pittsburgh, PA and two sisters, Marla DiRuscia of Beaver Falls, PA and Lisa Hendricks of Oklahoma City, OK ; nieces and nephews Darla Lantz of Pittsburgh, Jeff Hilbig of Beaver Falls, PA, Ryan Hendricks of Aliquippa, PA and Kayla Bacon of Bokchito, OK.
William is preceded by his daughter Harrison Dorsch.
William was a Veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard having served during Operation Desert Storm. William served as a priest and enjoyed serving Emotions Anonymous Pittsburgh and serving as Chaplain for Option Independent Vol. Fire Company in Baldwin Borough, PA. William was raised a Freemason in October 2010 in Bismarck, ND Lodge 5 & dual member of Chancellor Walworth Lodge 102 Steele, ND. After moving to Pittsburgh. he became a member of Omni Lodge 509 in Dravosburg, PA. William was also a Knights Templar, 32° Mason; Northern and Southern Jurisdiction's, and a Knight of St. Andrew in North Dakota. William had also served in the First Flight Lions Club in Kill Devil Hills, NC 1995 - 2001 (President 2000, 2001) and Outer Banks Jaycees (1998-99). Family and friends will be received at the Hershberger-Stover Inc. Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 170 Noble Ave., Crafton on Thursday, July 2, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Service in Church of the Nativity, 33 Alice St., Crafton on Friday. July 3 at 10 AM. Interment will be private for family only. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank, Emotions Anonymous International, a charity of your choice or simply take someone to lunch in memory of William.
