Robert Warren Scott, age 95, of Beverly Hills, Fl., formerly of Crafton, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Diamond Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lecanto, Florida, surrounded by his loved ones. Bob was born on June 2, 1929, in Crafton, PA, to the late Harry B. Scott and Stella Margaret Scott, and stepmother Martha Scott. He was preceded in death by five sisters: Margaret Daniels, Linda Scott, Barbara Huffmyer, Virginia Arnold, and Anne Spinelli, and his brother, Donald Scott. He was also predeceased by his beloved companion, Ruth A. Hale. Bob is survived by his six children: Laura Scott Snyder (Chris) of Erie, PA, Rick Scott (Alicia) of Upper St. Clair, PA, Patsy Pearce (Larry) of Carnegie, PA, Joan Kinney of CA, Gary Scott (Anne) of MD, and Rob Scott of Erie, PA. He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A proud Army veteran and a graduate of Grove City College with a Bachelor of Science degree, he was a member of Nu Lambda Phi Fraternity. Bob went on to build a distinguished career in the traffic consulting business, serving as president of both Scott Traffic Consultants, Inc. and Keystone Traffic Consultants. He earned the respect of his colleagues and clients for his integrity, dedication, and exceptional work ethic, leaving a lasting impact on his industry. Though his professional life was successful, it was his role as a father and community member that truly defined his legacy. From his youth, Bob was passionate about sports, especially baseball. He was a standout player in high school, admired for his talent and commitment to the game. Later, he found joy in coaching baseball, offering encouragement, guidance, and support. His love for sports extended beyond baseball and watching the Pirates play at Forbes Field. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed attending games at Three Rivers Stadium with family and friends. Bob’s greatest pride was in his family. Whether attending dance recitals, sports events or simply just being there to cheer them on, Bob was always present with love and support. He was a constant source of encouragement, nurturing his children’s passions and celebrating their successes. His legacy is defined not just by his accomplishments, but by the unwavering love he showed to his family and his community. As a longtime member of the Masonic Lodge and Chartier’s Country Club, Bob built lasting friendships and was known for his generosity, kindness, and the joy he brought to those around him. Bob’s life was one of honor, integrity, and love. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be remembered for his resilience, wisdom, and the joy he brought into the world. Family and friends will be received at the Hershberger-Stover Inc. Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 170 Noble Ave., Crafton, PA 15205 on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 5 PM until 8 PM. Funeral Services will be at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 AM with burial in St. Michael Cemetery, Southside.
