Peacefully on Saturday, April 14, 2018, Warren A. "Cornie" Phillips, age 95, of Ingram. Beloved husband of the late Beatrice "Bess" Phillips. Loving father of Beverly A. (Scott ) O'Mara and Gregg A. Phillips; dear grandfather of Katy and Kelly Murphy; brother of Kathryn Miles and the late John, Calvin, Davis, William and James Phillips. Friends received at the Hershberger-Stover Inc. Funeral Home, 170 Noble Avenue, Crafton, on Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p. m. where funeral service will be held Thursday at 11AM. If desired, memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675-8517. Cornie was a Marine veteran who served in combat in the battles on Okinawa and Ryukyu Island and participated in the occupation of Japan. He also was a longtime member of the Ingram Volunteer Fire Department and Lodge No. 45 F.&A.M. Cornie's family wishes to express their deepest thank you to his wonderful caregivers and companions Karen, Mikal Lynn and Lynette and the tremendous staff at Country Meadows, especially his favorite nurse Debbie.
